Gosport BMXers aim for Olympic glory as new track opens
The £278,000 cost of the new
BMX track was met by the Veolia
Environmental trust.
GOSPORT NEWS SAYS:

The new BMX track in Gosport is
a project we can all be justifiably
proud of. It is an investment
(provided at no cost to local
taxpayers) in local youngsters –
so often driven by boredom to
commit acts of anti-social
behaviour - that will bring them
many hours of safe thrills.

And what a bonus if it could help
bring Olympic glory to Gosport for
the first time since Roger Black
won silver in Atlanta in 1996.
Ayesha McClelland is a
remarkable young woman who
deserves our support. Hats off to
Gosport Borough Council who
helped her buy the equipment she
needs to develop her potential.
